The FDA has agreed to a single pediatric approval study in which Annamycin (also known as naxtarubicin) in combination with Cytarabine (also known as “Ara-C” and for which the combination of Annamycin and Ara-C is referred to as “AnnAraC”) will be evaluated as second line therapy in pediatric patients with relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia (R/R AML), a form of cancer.
