Travis Perkins (LSE:TPK) has moved to stabilise its top team by appointing building materials veteran Gavin Slark as its next chief executive, following a turbulent period in which the company has cycled through three CEOs in less than a year. Slark, who currently leads SIG, will take up the post no later than the start of next year.
