Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) has announced plans to invest £40 billion in the UK over the next three years, significantly expanding its footprint and creating thousands of jobs. The investment includes the construction of four new fulfilment centres: Two already confirmed in Hull and Northampton, and two more planned for the East Midlands by 2027.
